Rough cut of the second test flight we did with the Jet Wingsuit Project last fall. After the exit, it takes around 750 ft to get flying smoothly, and start revving up the engines towards the 60% power we where using for the first two flights. Once the engines where powered up, the flying is completely level, with (on this flight) around 1,5 minute of subtle climb as well. Almost all of what you see in this flight is around 4000 ft, flying without loss of altitude. Once fuel starts running low (jumping with only half capacity) the engines are revved down, and I deploy the main parachute. Just to be sure both engines are off, I also pull the engine release (that switches off the full electrical circuit to the engines) while the parachute is opening. From there its a smooth ride down to the ground on my Atair - WinX More flights are planned this winter, with us taking the power up to 90% to get a more pronounced climb and (later) acro ability..
