Trailer for a film I made for The R&A
Erik Anders Lang travels to Scotland, and also back in time, to discover the origins and legacy of the oldest Major in golf; The Open Championship. Erik visits the site of the very first Open, Prestwick Golf Club, in Ayrshire to learn how The Open Championship first came to be, the story behind the Claret Jug, and what makes this Championship so respected and revered around the world. Eriks history lesson takes him to Open venues Royal Troon and of course The Home of Golf, St Andrews, to learn how one Champion golfers death led to the birth of the oldest and most historic tournament in the game of golf. The full film debuts on May 1st, head over to theopen.com and join The One Club for free access. Special thanks to The R&A for their partnership in making it come to life.
