Deep in the heart of British Columbia's Kootenay Rockies lies the small village of Kaslo, populated by under 1000 hardy Canadians (as of 2016). The silver rush responsible for the village's founding might be over, but there's still treasure to be found in the surrounding peaks. White and fluffy treasure, to be exact.
