Eton teacher dismissed amid free speech row

A teacher has claimed he was dismissed from Eton College after preparing a lecture challenging ‘radical feminist’ ideas on gender. According to the Telegraph, the boarding school has been accused of “prioritising emotional safety over intellectual challenge”. Comedian Andrew Doyle said the move highlighted today’s “culture of conformity”. Speaking with talkRADIO’s Ian Collins, he added: “To categorically state that what we knew yesterday is not the case today, that’s a trick that every authoritarian regime in history has performed.”
