It opened its doors in 1917, though despite its renowned, the course fell into disrepair during the great depression and closed its doors forever during WWII. With years of work, implementing various types of surveying technology, Tom Doak and his team are meticulously restoring The Lido in Wisconsin, 1,000 miles away from its original home.
