Jeff Salzenstein shares his best serve tips to generate effortless power on your tennis serve. In this tennis serve lesson, you’ll learn four key serve tips that will help you improve your serve faster, as well as consistently hitting it with easy power. Tip One: The Grip Using a continental grip is very important to develop power on your tennis serve. Hold your racquet lower by making sure the index finger is spread on the racquet. Find out more details on how to easily fix these common issues by using the 3 finger serve tip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wWxLNCKdvg Tip Three: The First Move One of the keys to developing natural power on your serve is to feel how the shoulders turn first. Instead of moving with the arms, you want to turn your shoulders and hips at the same time in the beginning of the motion. Roger Federer and Pete Sampras are great examples to model. You’ve got to maintain this position in the racquet drop as you lead with the elbow.
