After our breakfast street food tour we re meeting up with a local "Tharu" family, The Tharu are one of the many ethnic groups in Nepal. Tharu originate from the lowlands of Nepal called Terai. Luckily for us we can taste their food here in Kathmandu, so today we will cook traditional Tharu snail dish called ghonghi. To cap of the day we re eating more on the streets of Kathmandu.
