Bold design and statement finishes transform a dated kitchen into a character-filled space. See how homeowner Millie Samanski collaborated with designer Linnea Lions to achieve her dream kitchen. Working with a long and narrow layout, Linnea brightened the space by adding double doors that lead to the backyard. Black and white patterned flooring adds graphic punch, while dark lower cabinets contribute to the contrasting palette. The kitchen extends to a dining area where a bench is surrounded by cabinets for additional storage. Brass details, found in the hardware, light fixture and hand-painted radiator, bring glamor to the space. The result is simply stunning.
