On Day 4 of the world s toughest hard enduro race, Young claimed victory and etched his name into the history books as the youngest winner ever. Despite facing stiff competition from Manuel Lettenbichler (Germany) and Jonny Walker (Great Britain), Young managed to hold his ground and break away from Lettenbichler just before the finish line. With his win, he became the first South African to win the epic race, which is considered the world’s toughest Hard Enduro. The win was the result of Young s skill and determination, as he finished second in the Prolog and won on days 2 and 3 to build a more than four-minute lead going into the final day. In his victory speech, he expressed his elation at having achieved his goal. "It’s always been my goal to win here, and now I’ve managed to tick that box," he said.
