We’re Taking Phil To A Specialist Vet! Poor Doggo!

Hey guys, so as explained in the video, Phil’s been on thyroid meds for about 6 months now, while we did see increased energy levels sustained, his coat has not got any better, in fact it has deteriorated. Phil started losing small patches of fur around his neck and the area is extremely thin and short coarse hair. Phil has started acting strange as if his skin irritated him and he is on edge trying to chase his tail and itch it. His skin has gone black and rough on the areas affected. Whilst our current vet has tested for many things through lots of different tests, we were luckily advised of a followers dog who appeared to have the same condition, they went to the specialist and got treated and it worked!! We are hopeful as we have booked a consultation with the same firm that we can finally get on the right path to help Phil get back to his full glory. As we are pushing this treatment at our request, a lot of the fees won’t be covered by insurance which is a shame as it puts people off. Phil is an angel and we want to do everything we can to help him in any way possible. The consultation alone is over £230 for a 10 min appointment! Let’s hope they have some good news for us next Tuesday and we can move forward. It would mean the world to get this right finally and help Phil.
