Forehand myths debunked: Former Top 100 ATP Pro, Jeff Salzenstein, is exposing 3 common myths that could be crippling your forehands potential. Most players make at least 1 of these 3 mistakes... Do you? https://goo.gl/WPahJh In this buggy whip forehand lesson, you can learn how to use this special finish to improve your passing shots. Many times players will dip a ball at their opponents feet and then get a ball that floats deep down the middle of the court towards the backhand side. Players might hit this shot as a backhand passing shot but often times, it s challenging to generate enough power off of a slow moving ball to the backhand side. If you have time to move around the ball to hit a buggy whip forehand, this can give you a greater chance to hit that passing shot by your opponent. You ll move around the ball and use the buggy whip forehand finish on this shot because it will allow you to make contact later than using a regular finish. Waiting longer to contact the ball allows for greater disguise and your opponent won t be able to read your shot as easily. With the buggy whip forehand finish on the passing shot, you can also generate more spin to get the ball to dip low at your opponents feet. You can can use the buggy whip forehand on many different shots, but adding this finish on passing shots can give you an edge when your opponent comes to the net.
